李岩，华中科技大学同济医学院三级教授、博士生导师，国家高层次青年人才计划入选者，湖北省杰出青年基金获得者。现任人畜共患传染病重症诊治全国重点实验室（华中科技大学）业务副主任、病原生物学系党支部书记、华中科技大学生物冷冻电镜平台用户委员会主任。兼任中华医学会微生物学与免疫学分会委员、中华医学会医学病毒学分会青年委员、湖北省医学会微生物与免疫学分会候任主任委员、湖北省生物物理学会常务理事、湖北省医学会热带病与寄生虫学分会委员等多个学术职务，并担任VIEW Medicine副主编、Journal of Cellular Biochemistry编委、Military Medical Research青年编委及The BMJ等二十余个期刊审稿人。

  本科毕业于中国科学技术大学，博士毕业于新加坡南洋理工大学，曾在新加坡国家药物研发机构从事多年创新药物研发工作。聚焦耐药细菌、呼吸道病毒、利什曼原虫等人畜共患病原体的致病分子机制与精准干预策略，综合运用生物化学、结构生物学、分子生物学、人工智能等多学科手段，探索病原-宿主互作机制与靶向干预路径，致力于从基础机制研究走向技术转化和产业应用。

  以（共同）通讯或第一作者在Science、Lancet Microbe、Nature Nanotechnology、Nature Communications等期刊发表SCI论文50余篇，H因子30，并主编高等教育出版社出版的《医学微生物学》等教材。在人才培养方面，注重科研训练与实践能力并重，持续指导学生参与高水平学科竞赛，在挑战杯、大学生医学创新大赛等国家级、省级赛事中多次获奖，并入选学校示范性学生创新团队。

  主持国家自然科学基金专项项目与面上项目、湖北省杰出青年基金、武汉市卫健委项目及多项企业合作课题，作为骨干成员参与多个国家重点研发计划和省级创新研究群体项目。已申请药物发明专利8项，多个新药研发项目已进入临床试验阶段，相关产品销往十余个国家。荣获中国青年“创青春”大赛金奖、华为最佳创新合作奖、湖北省科学技术进步奖、华中科技大学青年五四奖章等荣誉，多篇文章入选ESI热点论文及高被引论文、湖北省科协优秀科技论文，相关成果被央视等主流媒体专题报道。
